HEY.....What’s Up With The Heavens????
The Sun, traveling through Aries this month, lights the fire within us all, as we own who we are and exist more fully in each moment…until the 20th, when it enters Taurus, and we look both within and without to see just what it is we need in order to truly sustain and support ourselves in this life. The new moon on the 14th in Aries inspires a new sense of courage, and the full moon on the 28th in Scorpio finds us all enjoying more emotional depth.
Mercury enters Taurus on the 2nd, encouraging steadiness and persistence in our exchanges with others. Venus, also in Taurus, squares Mars in Leo on the 3rd, as we find new ways to ground the feminine and exalt the masculine without feeling compelled to diminish either. Mercury squares Mars on the 4th, as we work to hold our tongues and not allow others to provoke us into saying things that are argumentative or that we might later regret.
Vesta, the Goddess energy of devotion, turns direct in Leo on the 6th (having traveled retrograde since Jan 4, 2010). We realize now that we ourselves are worthy of our own devotion. Pluto turns retrograde in Capricorn on the 6th (until September 14, 2010). We are in a time of deep collective transformation of the structured world we share. This is a period of gathering more clarity and knowledge about what must change and why.
Saturn, traveling retrograde, enters Virgo again on the 7th, as we revisit the necessity of holding clear and strong personal boundaries in the outer world if we are to stand even a chance at coexisting there in effective ways. Mercury turns retrograde in Taurus on the 17th (until May 11, 2010) prodding us to look within for ways to express ourselves with confidence and clarity born from a sense of stability and strength.
Chiron enters Pisces on the 19th, as we realize the deep spiritual understandings that come from surviving experiences of being wounded and healing wounds. We can work in profound ways with the tools we have gathered in surviving destruction. Venus in Taurus squares Neptune in Aquarius on the 23rd, as we all work to ground our unique spiritual selves more deeply into the world so that we can bring about true revolution. Venus sextiles Uranus in Pisces on the 23rd, opening doors to realms where we are valued and feel our spirits are free.
Venus enters Gemini on the 24th, as we open up to explore more of life, and then squares Chiron in Pisces on the 25th, and we sense how there will always be vulnerability in living an open life. Mercury in Taurus squares Mars in Leo on the 25th, bringing a tension that elevates us out of untrue, self-sacrificing ways of communicating. Saturn in Virgo opposes Uranus in Pisces on the 26th, reminding us to seek both self-containment and immersion within the ebb and flow of life.
Ceres, the Goddess energy of nurturing, turns retrograde in Capricorn on the 28th (until Aug 8, 2010) as we contemplate self-love and consider where we might be in need of nourishment that we can give to our own selves.

ARIES (Mar. 21-Apr. 19)....Happy Birthday Aries!! Searching for and following your passion is the way you start off your new year. And what could be better than that? You feel the embers igniting into flames of fervor as you move to align with forces of energy higher than your own. In this place of surrender, you find new and great opportunities for creative expression.
TAURUS (Apr. 20-May 20)....Grounding your power in order to find and maintain a center is where you turn your gaze and what you tend to now Taurus. There is a clear opening for substantial progress when it comes to recalibrating your relationship to the earth and bringing into reality a firm and strong structure upon which you can both rest and move forward.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20).....You take off in the directions that call to you and pull at your heart strings Gemini. The messages are clear and distinct. And you listen intently and with great care. There are places to go and people to meet and you must follow your dreams and be with those who are loving and who protect your visions.
CANCER (June 21-July 22)....You have much to offer others now Cancer. You find yourself overwhelmed with a sense of generosity. It is time to give. All of the love and the feelings you have allowed space for and have nurtured inside yourself, have brought you to a place of great potential when it comes to others. There is love and compassion to share and it flows forth with graciousness and ease from your precious heart and soul.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)….You have been clear in your relationship to life, and now you move into a place of deep surrender to the unknown Leo. There is much to gain from turning over the reigns and allowing forces beyond our control to lead us into places of higher spiritual harmony and exaltation in ways unknown before. It is here that we become potential itself.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22).... You are beautiful and carry a subtle transcendent vibration that others can find peace and rest inside of Virgo. Feel your lightness and allow it to emanate into the spaces that surround you. As you do this, you bring great love and a divine beauty to your world and to those fortunate enough to inhabit it with you.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)....There is a way that abundance itself can overload the senses and leave us seeking new balance. There is lot of energetic movement these days Libra, and you must both expand and release control in order to work it through. You do best when you open up and let the vastness move through you and around you without engaging with anything beyond what you can feel peace in the midst of. Let a sense of calm and lightness be your guide.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)....It is important…even vital…that you take the necessary actions to separate out energies that are incompatible with your soul’s nature Scorpio. Look closely at what is presenting itself. Do not turn away from, or minimize, your perceptions. Back yourself up and take action on your own behalf in order to establish a more refined set of circumstances. There is no time like present to clean house on the mental plane.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)….Usurping authority is the name of the game Sag. You have no tolerance for outside agendas that lead you to feeling of being undermined or disenfranchised. There is a tremendous sense of liberation that follows when we step up to advocate for ourselves and take our power out of the hands of others. Own your own authority.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)....You are called upon to stand tall and sit inside your own sense of integrity Capricorn. You must be who you really are. What is your strength there for? And, what do you align yourself and your soul with in this world? As you interface with challenging circumstances, draw upon that courage that sits inside of you. Bravery in the midst of darkness is what you are asked to embody.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)....You feel a strength in relationship to creation and you come to see more clearly just how it is that your inner life can make itself seen and known in your outer reality Aquarius. There really is a correlation between the inner and outer worlds and there are times when we are given a chance to see ourselves clearly through this gift of sight. You exist in such a moment now. What do you see?
PISCES (Feb. 19-Mar. 20)....You are ignited into a place where new forms of expression open up for you Pisces. You leave the neutral and let the electric run through you and bring you into heightened states of awareness. There is an access to the lifeforce itself that you are able to tap into with ease. Use this time to rebalance and heal anything that has atrophied through neglect or lack of use.
